Kristyn & Adam’s Wedding at Silos Estate

A week before the wedding, I drove down to berry to take a look at the winery Kristyn and Adam had chosen for their wedding day. Call me eager but I just had to see the location well before the wedding day. It was so beautiful with stunning backdrops and I spent a bit of time finding the right spots to do the location shoot. All I could think about that week was about this wedding day. I was super excited and had everything planned from the type of shots I want to achieve to where it was going to be done.

Now lets fast forward a week!! While driving down to berry my heart skipped a fair few beats. The weather wasn’t looking the best, and the winery hadn’t grown at all (I knew it wouldn’t grow that quickly) but I had a little bit of faith. On top of that, the winery owner had sprayed pesticide, so we couldn’t use the location spot I had chosen a week before. But somehow the gods had listen to my little prayer and the clouds started to disappear. The sun started shining and it put a smile on everyone’s faces. I found another spot to do the location shoot and all went according to plan.

The day started with some casual shots of Kristyn and her beautiful bridesmaids relaxing and getting ready in their room. Kristyn and the bridesmaid look absolutely stunning!! I loved the long vintage dress, and the style they had all chosen. It suited the location of this wedding perfectly. The ceremony soon followed after in the beautiful courtyard with great scenery, with location shoots and reception at night.

I would like to thank my helpers Joanne.H and Kory.L (primary 2nd shooter) for helping me through out the day. Kory is a well established motor sport photographer who likes to venture into the wedding field when he can. If your a big car buff do check out his website (Kory Leung Photography).

The following are some sample photos from the wedding.

Please note the pics have been re-sized a fair bit to fit into the blog page.
